Do you ever find yourself wondering how you keep having the same relationship over and over? Do you ever wonder why the certain same type of people are in your life? How about anxiety or discomfort in certain situations like your workplace or with your social circle?
Together we can explore the relationships in your life in all settings: work, family, romantic, friends, etc. Through these relationships we can identify what’s working for you and what’s not and how those patterns came to be.
Healing happens in relationships—and therapy can be a powerful place to begin that process.
One powerful aspect of therapy is gaining insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a way that helps you better understand yourself and how you relate to others.
Together, we can explore past experiences and any unresolved issues that may be shaping your current patterns or interactions.
We’ll also focus on increasing your awareness of your emotions and nervous system responses, especially in stressful situations.
The goal is to support self-reflection and help you develop a deeper sense of self-understanding.
With that increased awareness, you can decide more for yourself what you would your responses and behavior to be like in those situations that previously felt confusing or concerning.
We are shaped by so many experiences and relationships in our life. Through some of these past experiences, we can clearly tell what has changed or grown about us. Some of these changes or beliefs about ourselves or others, are unconscious, and we aren’t fully aware of them.
This could look like you not really being sure why something is upsetting you, why you really struggle to get along with that one person, or why you respond to stress or conflict in a way that you don’t like or surprises you.
Therapy can offer a safe, compassionate space to explore your experiences, build resilience, and find relief. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, dealing with anxiety or depression, healing from trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to support you.
Through my experience, I have found that I am passionate about women’s mental health. Women face unique challenges when it comes to mental health.
From hormonal changes to societal pressures, many factors can impact a woman’s emotional well-being throughout her life.
Women are also more likely to experience trauma, which can deeply affect mental health. In addition, many women struggle silently with unrealistic expectations about how they “should” look, feel, or parent.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with many women during life transitions, high pressure situations, dealing with anxiety or depression, past trauma, relationship or family stressors and more.
These transitions and experiences can be a uniquely complex, transitional time and it’s hard to know what to expect and is deeply impacted by a variety of social, emotional, cultural, and biological factors.
The Process of Therapy
Step 1
DISCOVERY CALL
By filling out the contact form, I can then schedule a free 15-minute consultation phone call to see if we’d be a good fit. You’ll be able to ask any questions you have, describe a bit about the situation that brings you to therapy and I can discuss what you might expect from the therapeutic process.
Step 2
INITIAL SESSION
We will complete a thorough intake to gain some history and understanding of you and circumstances that lead to you seeking therapy services. We will have a chance to talk about what you’d like to gain from therapy services and what would be most helpful to you. We can also discuss what treatment will look like and an overview of the therapy process.
Step 3
ONGOING SESSIONS
Consistent and weekly therapy can be the most beneficial, however I can work with your schedule and availability. Continued, ongoing therapy looks different and unique for everyone and is dependent on your needs and goals. You and I will continue to check in with each other throughout the process.

I am not paneled with any insurance companies, but I do have superbills automatically generated on the first of every month that can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement.
If you would like to seek reimbursement for services, you can call their insurance company before beginning treatment to ask if you have out-of-network mental health benefits, if those benefits cover in-person and telehealth sessions with procedure codes 90791, 90837, 90834, 90832, 90846, and 90847 and what portion of payments they will be responsible for.
It would be up to you to submit superbills to the insurance company if you are seeking reimbursement.

Everyone’s experience in therapy will be slightly different as no one has the same experiences in life. However, you can expect that I’ll be in the moment with you and curious about your experience.
As we continue to explore and understand your history and experiences, we can start to understand patterns in your life. Whether that’s patterns of behavior, patterns in relationships, in communication, in high pressure situations and more.
Sometimes these patterns are very helpful and keep us thriving and feeling good about ourselves and our achievements. And sometimes those patterns get in the way of what we want in life, the type of relationship we desire or the way we’d like to communicate or handle stress.
Those are opportunities for change and growth that we can identify throughout the therapy process.

Sandtray therapy is a creative and hands-on way to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences—especially when words don’t quite capture what’s going on inside. Using a literal tray of sand and a variety of miniatures, you can build scenes or images that represent different parts of your life, relationships, or inner world.
There’s no right or wrong way to do it—it’s not about being artistic. It’s more about letting your mind and emotions express themselves in a different way, sometimes in a surprising way to you. After you create your tray, we can talk about what came up for you, or just sit with what the scene means to you.
Many adults are surprised by how meaningful and insightful the process can be. An experiential form of therapy can allow for different insight and understanding of yourself. It can help you see things from a new perspective, process difficult experiences, and better understand yourself.
